Torquil and Juree Chidwick, a husband and wife team, launched Sabai Sabai in 2003 as a quaint, family-owned Thai restaurant in Moseley. The warm reception from locals prompted them to expand to the Harborne location, featuring an understated Eastern elegance with intricately carved wooden benches and softly inviting lighting. Their mastery of contemporary chic brings a touch of Thailand to the Midlands.

Over a decade ago, Phil Innes saw an opportunity in Birmingham's city center. He believed there was a demand for unique, quality wines, chosen to suit each customer's taste rather than adhering to traditional wine conventions. Phil's vision led to Loki's creation, marked by cutting-edge tasting technology, guided experiences, and a commitment to demystifying wine.

Loki quickly became the go-to place for wine recommendations, enjoyable evenings, and a dedication to quality. Fast forward ten years, and Loki has expanded, hosting popular online tastings and winning numerous awards. Despite these changes, the essence of Loki remains the same: a love for wine, constant learning, and a focus on delivering exceptional quality in every bottle bearing the Loki name.

The menu focusses on fresh seasonal dishes alongside the stunning wine list. With a flexible offering including snacks, small and large plates alongside the fresh oyster and caviar selection. The format means you can pop in and share a few small plates, have a traditional three course menu or indulge in one of the renowned platters.

We are beyond excited to announce that Cow & Sow will be heading to the wonderful city of Birmingham in late 2024. After more than a year in planning, Cow & Sow will be able to showcase to Birmingham why they are rustling feathers amongst hospitality in Bristol.

The new steakhouse will feature an array of prime aged steaks, from single cuts to exceptional sharing steaks from grass-fed cattle alongside delicious sides & small plates to start. Enjoy exquisite cocktails and a vast wine list featuring Cow & Sow’s very own Malbec. 

Set to occupy space on the eastern side of Chamberlain Square, Cow & Sow will neighbour Indian-Irani restaurant Dishoom, bringing an experience like no other to Birmingham. The new venue will offer an unforgettable culinary experience in a contemporary yet premium setting, bringing its ever-popular lunch and dinner offering to Paradise. Expect open kitchens, a beautiful bar and a private dining area perfect for the local business community and intimate dining experiences.
